Christmas Enrichment 2009

We had our Christmas Enrichment this week. People signed up to decorate the tables. Mine is the center one in this collage. Others signed up to bring food. One person even brought yorkshire pudding! It was awesome.
We talked at our tables about traditions and wrote our favorite tradition on a strip of paper which is going to make a paper-chain that will be hung in our Relief Society room until Christmas as a reminder of the welding links that traditions make in our lives. I thought they did a great job considering they really have no budget.
At the end we were given a gift. We were asked to make it the last gift that is opened on Christmas. They wanted us to think about it and wrap it up again next year and do the same thing. So what did I do...opened it up that night when Rick and Steve were home! It was a Jesus Trading Card which a scripture covering up the contact information. The scripture was from John about Heavenly Father so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son. It was nice but I am so glad I didn't wait until Christmas to open it.

So Very....

Draper
Ok we all know that Daybreak is synonymous with Stepford but did you know that Draper is synonymous with stuck up? Ok not everyone in Draper is stuck up...I know I am but I am sure there are some who aren't.
I was at a ward recipe exchange tonight. We were chatting away and Winco was brought up. So one lady talks about how much she LOVES it. I state that it isn't worth driving 9.5 miles for me. Someone asks where they are and I state where they are located. The same lady says, don't go to the one on 5600 west, that's in Magna. I said, no it isn't it is West Valley. She says, it might as well be Magna.
I was actually shocked at her judgmentalness. Seriously, she is all over Winco, which is like Food 4 Less but a touch better and as for her calling in the ward...yeah she should keep her mouth shut.

Then there was the one who knew everything about everything. I wanted to say...Shut your pie hole please.

Yeah maybe I shouldn't go to these ward activities. It just guarantees my spot in hell rather than helping me out of it.

Stalker

No I don't have a stalker, I am one. I think the first step in recovery is admitting that one has a problem.
Yes, I have a problem and it is stalking people.
It is SO much fun!
My favorite to stalk...guys I dated and we know that is a never ending datebase from which I am able to draw. This is sometimes easy and sometimes difficult. Difficult you may ask...yeah cause I don't remember their names. They just pop into my head randomly. I am always so happy when they are not private on FaceBook so I can check out how they look, usually how much weight they have gained and how their faces are aging. Yeah, I know I have gained weight too BUT I know I am not aging in my face as much as most of them are.
I like seeing that they are happy and married and think...man how did they get some girl to marry them. She must be a sucker!

Yeah...I have issues but I sure am able to entertain myself.

Setting the record straight

I can't put this on facebook but I would like to set the record straight...I think Jimmie Johnson and Chad Knaus are douchebags.
