The first two are of my home the rest are homes within 5 minutes walking of our home. I can't wait to see what Christmas brings!

Decorating

It has taken me a long time to decide what colors to paint in our house but I finally decided for our family room and living room.


Now that we have painted I can't believe how boring it was before.
I was able to find a great rug for the family room too. It feels much warmer and cozier. I know what I am going to do the on the wall for photos but haven't taken the time to do it yet.

I wasn't sure if I posted a photo with our drapes yet so I included that as well.

Cause He's That Awesome

When all this house stuff started, the Dude told me that he wanted to have new towels in the bathroom. I said, Cool.
Then he told me that he wants new pots and pans. I thought, this is Great.
Yesterday he told me, "We need to get some really nice hand towels for the guest bathroom and the kitchen. You know, ones what we don't use but LOOK really good."
How dang awesome is that!?!
