Winter

OK I know this is SO late but I still wanted to post these photos.
We went to a friends' house on New Years' day to watch the Winter Classic - aka hockey game outside. It was to have been in the afternoon but it had been raining in Pennsylvania so they postponed it to that night. Well it most certainly wasn't raining here!
This is on the inside of my car after sitting in the driveway for about 3 hours.
That week there was a lot of ice skating on the lake here too.

Storm Front

A few weeks ago there was a major storm hitting town. (Not like the one last weekend that didn't drop a centimeter at our place.)
I was driving into the storm and just praying the clouds would hold all the moisture (hehehe I said moist) in until I was able to get home. I honestly can't remember if they did or not. But this was the storm front coming in...


It was SO cool!

Winter Driving

5 years ago I bought my second Subaru. I am sure glad I own it.

This was my commute in this morning. It took me an hour and 45 minutes to drive 19 miles.

This was my lunch break.

I am not looking forward to my drive home.

Fire! Fire!

Just over a week ago it snowed. Rick decided to start a fire. We had a stack of papers sitting in the fireplace for several months now. (I cleaned out his school binders and put it all in there.) These are photos from our adventure... Since them Rick has cleaned out the fire place so well that it is white on the bottom. I don't think we will be having any more fires this year.
