We went to Draper Historic Park. It is a really cute park on 900 east and about 12550 south in Draper. I figured that as long as we live here we need to enjoy what the "city" has to offer. We were able to use the jean quilt I made for the first time.
After eating our lunch made by Quiznos, we went for a little walk around the park. I unfortunately left my camera plugged into the computer the night before and had run down the battery so I was only able to take a few quick photos before the battery totally died. Nevertheless, you can see why I find this park so cute. Rick and I both have ancestors who lived in Draper during it's early days as pioneers. It was fun to be able to think about them possibly walking around in the same park as we were.
Apparently they have concerts in the park every Monday evening so if anyone ever wants to go with me, let me know and we shall see what we can do.

Well, I do have to applaud you for your self restraint from not attacking each other at the park in broad daylight. That must have been really tough to do. However, with such nice scenery.....
Ya know, the dude stayed in his chair the whole time and didn't even join me on the blanket ~ sheesh!
