I opted for 9 years ago - when I last had my short hair. If I remember correctly, I started growing it out after this last cut. Oh yeah, I was a lot thinner then too. hehehe

Had a visit from Maddy, Ellie and Drew


Had a visit from extended family members


Moved into our new home


Started a garden


Attended opening day of ReAl Salt Lake with family from Seattle


Went Go-Kart racing for the first time


Added a patio to the house


Added a cousin's wedding



Watched the neighbor kids play in puddles at the end of our driveway


Got caught in a rain storm


Harvested from our garden


Went to a drive-in movie


Harvested pumpkins


Painted rooms in our home


Spent a weekend in Park City


Carved our pumpkins for Halloween


Attending the BYU/Utah football and didn't freeze!


Had Michele's family over for Thanksgiving Dinner


Had a Very Merry Christmas


As the sun sets on 2010 I realize we did a lot more than I thought this year. We had a very wonderful and blessed year. I hope that everyone has a safe and peaceful 2011!

Happy Anniversary

Today is our anniversary. It often seems like Rick and I have been together for a lifetime rather than only married for 4 years. Not in a bad way either. I tend to like the dood. Here are a few photos from our fun day.

A Cousin's Wedding

Memorial Day weekend Saturday, we spent in at my cousin Alex's wedding. My aunt and cousins from another state made the trek to town for her son's wedding. It was great to see them. My brother and Rick has lost a lot of weight and need new suits. Their pants look like they are wearing their dad's suits. The little ones loved playing in the water. My beautiful cousin Aimee is always fun to chat with.It was a long day but of course we had some fun.

Santa

I was just checking out a friend's blog. She went to see Santa with her cute little boys and not only did they see Santa, they saw Santa Ray! Santa Ray is THE best Santa out there. I used to work with him while at CR England. Months before Christmas he would start whitening his beard. No stuck on things for him. It was the real deal.
This guy is so incredible...not only does he work a full time real job, he does the Santa job all December too. He had a party the night of our wedding and still took time to visit us and take photos with us.

Our Rings

I had a request to post a photo of my wedding ring. I thought I was going to have to clean it and all that when just now I remembered, I have a photo from our actual wedding day. Obviously the one with the center stone is my engagement ring. The one on the left is my wedding ring exchanged while in the Temple. I do have an additional one that matches to make my ring balanced which we exchanged in a ring ceremony that evening. I thought the photo of Rick playing with his ring would be a fun one to post on here as well. Since we have been married, Rick's ring has taken a beating. It isn't even an oval anymore. One of these days, I will clean my rings and take a photo of them all together, but until then...enjoy!
